Disability is an aspect of diversity, but it’s not just a problem for people with disabilities. It can also become a barrier to access that affects all employees. In fact, most people with disabilities consider disability to be part of their identity rather than something they need assistance with; however, this doesn’t mean that everyone feels comfortable talking about their disability in the workplace or socializing with coworkers who have different abilities from them.

Disability is also an aspect of diversity in the workplace because it affects people differently depending on their physical, cognitive or mental abilities. Some people may have physical limitations that prevent them from performing certain tasks at work; others may have low levels of education; still others may experience anxiety or stress due to discrimination based solely on their gender identity or sexual orientation–not because they are disabled (though this too can be true).

For example: One time I was talking with my manager about how I had left work early because my eyesight wasn’t what it used to be (I had gone blind in one eye after getting hit by shrapnel), but my manager didn’t seem interested in hearing about this at all–he just wanted me out of his office as soon as possible so that he could get back into his paperwork before leaving himself! Another time I was having lunch with another coworker when she started complaining about how hard life was for her because she needed extra help from her husband when doing housework or cooking dinner; however despite this extra burden on their relationship, neither party seemed willing or able enough actually do anything about improving matters until one day when someone else offered them some advice based off personal experience working alongside people who had similar challenges keeping up with daily responsibilities involving caregiving duties (which includes everything from childcare through elder care).
