CAMPAIGN STRATEGY

This is now an INDIVIDUAL assessment and we hope that you will start work on this from week 5.

To allow for differing expertise you have three options for the form that this assignment will take.

You can choose either:

1. A 2,000 word written campaign strategy proposal, with extensive evidence and referencing provided (your references/bibliography* will not count towards the word length for this assessment);

OR

2. A 1,000 word written campaign strategy proposal with evidence and referencing provided (your references/bibliography* will not count towards the word length for this assessment), PLUS a fully developed artefact (this will likely need to be a “virtual” artefact., ie a picture of your design etc.)

OR

3. A real-life Practical Project. This will require pre-discussion with your tutor and a 300-word proposal (to be submitted in week 6), and then the roll out of your project. In week 12 you are expected to provide a reflection on the project, its strength, weaknesses, and progress. This option is designed for people who want to start making change now. It can be directed to your street, your neighbourhood, your city, or a virtual community. It is critical that you do not roll out your project without prior discussion with us.

In addition to uploading your strategies to the assessments page, all students will be submitting a poster presentation of their strategy to the discussion board. All campaign posters are to be submitted prior to our Friday class in week 12 (so the Thursday at the latest). I have prepared a detailed and thorough proposal for the campaign strategy that will be used on your website. The main idea of this campaign is about building positive association between two entities (i.e., Company A and Company B) through social media campaigns, which includes Facebook posts and Instagram Stories. The whole strategy revolves around four main pillars:
