Essay Structure
I. Introduction
a. Introduction helps to inform your audience on the object of study.
Identify your object of study to your reader.
Describe to your reader what your object of study looks like (If you still unsure how to describe you object of study, look at news stories from the NYT, LAT, CS Monitor).
Explain to your reader how you came about selecting your object of study.
Explain to your reader why reading your research is important.
Explain to your reader what they will learn from reading your research.
Explain to your reader your position towards the existing literature you
collected (You may say how: (1) your research aligns with the existing literature; (2) your research contradicts the existing literature; or (3) your research offers something different).
II. Issues
a. Identify the issue assists your reader to understand how you are categorizing your
object of study. Classify your research by one of the following issues (Select one but not more than two issues listed below):

a. For this section, you are to use the readings you have collected from the research
proposal (Assignment #2), and the annotated bibliography (Assignment #3), you have a total of eight sources from both assignments.
