The world is facing a growing number of chronic diseases. These are diseases that affect people over the course of their lives and can’t usually be cured by one dose of medicine or one visit to the doctor. Chronic diseases are caused by lifestyle factors such as poor diet and lack of exercise, but they can also be caused by environmental issues such as air pollution or poor sanitation conditions in developing countries.

For example, diabetes is a common chronic disease in India. It is estimated that more than 70 million Indians have diabetes and that number is expected to double by 2030.

However, if TB rates were only 10 deaths per 100k people in your country–a much lower rate than what we see on our graph–then perhaps there would be less urgency from governments or charitable organizations to address this issue quickly.

Conclusion

For me, I decided to choose diabetes as my disease of choice. It affects many people around the world, and it is a serious issue that needs to be addressed soon. The causes of this disease include obesity and lack of exercise which can be prevented by eating healthy foods and exercising regularly. Another way we could help prevent diabetes would be by educating people about their risk factors so they can take action before getting sick!
