Additionally, virtual teams allow for faster decision-making, as members can provide opinions and feedback more quickly. However, virtual teams also have drawbacks. Bergiel et al. (2008) note that “virtual teams can be hindered by communication difficulties, such as language barriers, limited feedback, and misunderstandings” (p. 12).
