Introduction

Two very different theories explain why we are who we are today.

James’s theory says that we are made up of a collection of components.

James’s theory states that we are made up of a collection of components. These components are genes and proteins.

The genes make up our bodies, while the proteins do most of the work to make you who you are as an individual. Your genetic code can be inherited by your children if they have sex with each other (or their partner) before they reproduce themselves in order to pass on their own DNA to future generations.

The theory of natural selection can be applied in your daily life. The key to understanding this is knowing that genes and proteins are the building blocks of life. Genes are blueprints for making proteins, which in turn make up all living things. Proteins interact with other cells through specific receptors on their outer surfaces; these interactions allow them to perform specific functions such as growth or reproduction.

In order for a gene pool (a group of genes) to be able to reproduce its own kind, it needs two things: an environment that allows its members’ survival instincts to guide them towards adaptation (that is why we call them instincts), and another set of individuals who also have those same adaptations but aren’t necessarily trying too hard at being like themselves–they’re just doing what comes naturally!

These genes and proteins can be inherited by us from our parents.

There are two types of inheritance that we can inherit from our parents: genetic and epigenetic. Genetic inheritance occurs through the genes, while epigenetic inheritance involves the environment in which a child is raised.

Genes are the basic building blocks of life and make up our DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). We have 23 pairs of chromosomes including one inherited pair from each parent. Each chromosome contains about 3 billion base pairs of DNA code that makes up an organism’s genetic makeup

Darwin’s theory says that we are all part of a group, species.

The theory of evolution says that we are all part of a group, species. This means that our bodies have been shaped over time by the same forces that shape all life on Earth. We are part of one big family tree.

The word “species” can be misleading because it suggests there are distinct groups within this family tree with different characteristics or abilities to survive in different environments. In reality, all living things belong to the same species (that’s why they’re called “living”), but each species also has its own unique traits that make it distinct from other members of its kind—and sometimes even from itself!

The group is called the “great chain of being” which determines how an organism develops and changes over time.

The theory of evolution is very similar to Darwin’s theory. Both theories are based on the idea that we are all connected and part of a great chain, or hierarchy, in which each organism has a position in relation to other organisms. The difference between these two theories is that while Darwin’s view focuses on individual organisms and their development through natural selection over time, social evolutionists believe we can only understand our own groups by looking at how they affect others around them.[2]
