Biomes can be divided into several types: tropical rainforests, deserts, grasslands and forests etc. An ecosystem is a community of living organisms that interact with each other to form a functional whole in which each part is dependent on its neighbors for survival and well-being. Ecosystems can be affected by climate, weather and atmospheric chemistry. Ecosystems are also affected by human activities such as habitat destruction or pollution
