Write an informative memo (addressed to me) that addresses the following questions, each in their own section. Each section of the memo must include a parenthetical note that includes your first-person analysis/summary of the memo’s effectiveness in terms of the criteria listed below.

· What does the memo explain?

· In what areas does the memo excel in its clarity?  In what areas could its clarity be improved?

· In what ways are visual and typographical cues used well to help readers find information?  In what ways could the use of these cues be improved?

· Select one statement that you believe to be particularly important in the memo. Why is this statement important? Given its importance, is it placed well?

· How does this activity help you to understand how clarity, accessibility, and arrangement impact ethical communication?

Your memo should be between 500-600 words, balanced, and detailed.

A linked memo is a document that references or cites another document or a website. When creating linked memos, make sure to provide the citation information in both places. If you have different kinds of sources and documents, you should use different titles for each type.

The first step in creating a linked memo is to open the first document, which will have an “Add Link” button available on its toolbar. Once you’ve clicked this button and selected what type of link you want to create (such as “Web Site”), write out all of your information below the first text box:

• The title of your linked memo. If you want to link two memos, it’s a good idea to give them different titles so that they don’t look like they’re from the same person and thus appear as though they are part of one larger document (which would be plagiarized).
• The text of your linked memos themselves. When creating linked memos, make sure not only that there is some sort of connection between them but also that these connections are explicit—that is: it’s clear what each paragraph refers back or forwards toward in order for readers not only recognize what has been discussed before but also understand why these ideas were included within this particular piece (or vice versa).

For example, if your source is a newspaper article, the title might be “Article About XYZ Company.” If your source is an employee’s blog post on LinkedIn about their experience at XYZ Company, the title might be “Employee Blog Post About Their Experience At XYZ Company.” There are many more possibilities than just these two examples! The key here is making sure that every piece of information has its own unique identifier so that it can be found easily when searching for related content on Google or another search engine like Bing or Yahoo!

An advantage of linked memos is that you can use one to reference another document or website. For example, if you’re writing a report and want to cite a particular source, then the linked memo will allow you to link directly to it in your document. This makes it easy for others who are reading the report (or even future readers) since they can simply click on the link in order to get more information on what was written in that specific section.

The same goes for referencing websites—it’s not necessary for someone looking at one section of your document or another part within it; instead they just need access through clicking onto any text which contains links showing up throughout its text (and there will likely be plenty).
