Your conclusion should summarize your main points and provide a call to action.

Introduction

You have a choice to make, you can either choose to write an introduction and conclusion or just an introduction. Either way, you’ll need to convey your point of view on the topic that you’re presenting. For example: if I were giving a speech on “Why people should get vaccinated,” I would pick something specific like “It’s better for everyone.” This helps me get the audience’s attention because it makes them want to know more about what I’m talking about. If on the other hand, I were giving such a speech on “How much does it cost?” then my introduction would look like this:

Identify the audience for your speech, what do they know about the topic you want to speak about?

The audience for your speech is the group of people you are speaking to. The audience can be a person or a group of people, such as an organization, committee or meeting. Your audience knows about the topic that you want to speak about, but they may not know much about it yet (for example, if you were talking about baseball). In this case, try using some of the techniques listed below when presenting your persuasive speech on this subject matter so that they may understand what it is all about better than before!

How can you prove to them that your point of view is correct?

How can you prove to them that your point of view is correct?

This is where the argument comes in. You will need to give examples, or evidence, that support your claim. You should also consider what kind of evidence would be most convincing to your audience. Do some research and find out what kind of evidence would be most convincing to your audience.

What are the counter-arguments to your viewpoint? Do people disagree with you? Why?

There are many counter-arguments to your viewpoint. You may have thought of them yourself, or you may not have. This is because there are few people who agree with you on any given issue, and those who do will not always be able to think of good reasons why they disagree with you. That’s why it’s important for you to consider what the other side might say: how could they make their case?

If someone argues against your point of view by saying that “the world would be better off without pollution,” for example, how do we know this is true? What does it mean for something (like air pollution) not only being unnecessary but harmful? If a person suggests that we need polluting industries because some jobs depend on them over others (and therefore cannot easily be done without them), then maybe those jobs could go elsewhere–which would result in less pollution overall!

So when considering arguments against one’s own views–whether they’re made by friends or enemies–it helps if one can determine whether they apply more generally than just this specific instance; otherwise one risks falling into circular reasoning: arguing something only because another person has said so before them.”

Now write a rough draft of the introduction and conclusion

Now it’s time to write the introduction and conclusion of your persuasive speech.

The introduction should contain a hook that will get the audience’s attention, such as an anecdote or quote that illustrates your main point. It also needs to summarize what you’ve said so far, using quotes, statistics and anecdotes to support your argument. This can be done with bullet points or numbered lists if you prefer this method of organization; however, I would recommend using paragraphs instead just because they look more smooth when reading on paper (and they make it easier for people who are reading while sitting down). You may want to use humor in some way–this is completely up to you!

The more specific you can be in identifying your audience, the more successful your speech will be

You should define the topic of your speech before starting. This will help you decide what kind of information and examples to include, as well as how much time you need to prepare for it.

Setting goals is a critical step in writing persuasive speeches because it motivates us to work hard on our own behalf–and also for the sake of others (if there’s someone else who needs our attention). But sometimes people set unrealistic goals that don’t take into account their own abilities or limitations; this can lead them down a path where they end up feeling discouraged or even defeated by their lack of progress toward achieving their goal.

The best way to avoid this pitfall is by setting realistic expectations from the beginning: what are reasonable goals for yourself? How long do they need to be? What steps along your way must be taken before reaching these goals could be reached easily enough so that no further effort would be necessary after reaching them–or at least not much more than originally anticipated.”

Conclusion

The introduction and conclusion are the most important parts of any persuasive speech, so make sure they are the most compelling part of your presentation. The introduction should be a synopsis of what’s to come in your speech, while the conclusion is where you can tie everything together and restate your main point(s).
