In this post we’re going to talk about personality disorders. Personality disorders are a group of mental disorders that affect how you think and feel about yourself. You might struggle with one of these conditions, or several–and there’s nothing wrong with that! An estimated 18% of Americans will have a personality disorder at some point in their lives. Narcissistic Personality Disorder is a mental illness characterized by an inflated sense of self-importance and lack of empathy for others. People with NPD are often arrogant, manipulative or exploitative and are often perceived as being arrogant, manipulative or exploitative in their interactions with others.
Narcissists feel entitled to whatever they want at any time; they don’t empathize with other people’s feelings or needs. The behavior is characterized by an intense interest in other people, an inability to be alone, and dramatic emotional displays. This can include flamboyant dress and exuberance with sexual partners; excessive involvement in self-promotion; irrational jealousy; inappropriate seductiveness or attention seeking behaviors towards others that make them seem overly dramatic or theatrical (see below); being easily bored by routine activities such as cleaning the house after guests leave or doing ordinary chores like cooking dinner every night at home if you don’t want to cook yourself!
Antisocial personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have a tendency to disregard the rights of others. People with antisocial personality disorder are often described as having an inability to conform to society’s rules and moral expectations.
People with this condition may become violent or aggressive if they feel their rights have been violated, or if they believe that other people do not respect them. For example, they may be unwilling to follow traffic laws because they believe that police officers do not enforce those laws fairly; however, this behavior could also be caused by boredom or lack of meaningful activities in their lives
Dependent personality disorder is a type of personality disorder. It is characterized by a need for others to take care of them, and a lack of ability to take care of themselves.
People with dependent personalities may rely on others for help in many ways: they may have difficulty doing things without help, or they may find it difficult to make decisions without being asked first by someone else. People who have such traits tend to be passive and submissive; they don’t want conflict but would rather avoid taking responsibility or making tough choices.
It’s important to take care of your health. If you smoke, stop smoking. If you drink too much alcohol or take drugs, don’t do that anymore either. Don’t use supplements without a doctor’s prescription either—you could be putting yourself at risk for serious side effects!
Also make sure that you’re getting enough sleep each night; try keeping a schedule so that all your days start and end at the same time each day (for example: wake up at 7am). This will help keep track of how many hours of sleep per night you’re getting on average and help prevent insomnia by helping regulate circadian rhythms.”
